Eliza Carthy and Saul Rose: Video

It's nearly a month until the first Wagonload Of Monkeys radio show so, in the meantime, in the first of an occasional series of videos of British and Irish roots and folk singers, this is Eliza Carthy and Saul Rose. They're playing Trouble Over Bridewater on the esplanade (like an early version of the boardwalk from the 1800s) at Sidmouth in Devon during the 2012 Sidmouth Festival.

My new radio show, The Wagonload Of Monkeys, starts soon

My new radio show, The Wagonload Of Monkeys, starts on 18 November on WJFF and will feature folk and roots music, old and new, from Britain and Ireland. It will air every Tuesday at 7pm on 90.5FM in the Catskills, North East Pennsylvania and the Upper Delaware Valley Region and can be heard anywhere online from this page (scroll down the sidebar) and at wjffradio.org.

Shows are archived for two weeks (the maximum allowed by law) just hit the buttons on the right after the first show has aired.

Playlists will be posted here promptly after the end of each week's show.

WJFF is proud to be the only hydro-powered public radio station in the USA! The generating station is right outside the studio window.
